Many of us associate joint pains with old age or arthritis. Indeed, joint pains are normally experienced by older people due to joint disorders such as arthritis. Causes of Joint Pains

Painful joints are caused by several factors. The most common cause is arthritis, which is the inflammation of the joints caused by the depletion of the cartilage that serves as cushion between the adjoining bones. These conditions may cause soreness and inflammation of the joints, which if left untreated, may cause progression into a more serious problem. Joint pains caused by any of these conditions therefore require immediate treatment.

Remedies for Joint Pains

Oral medications are the most common treatment used in controlling painful joints. These drugs are not without side effects. In fact, due to their side effects, doctors closely monitor patients under these medications to avoid any of the potential side effects from occurring.
