I have been suffering from back pain for a long time and was treated by different doctors with exercises, medication and massage. I was not getting any better. I got this book as a gift and i think after reading it” only if it was that easy to forget about your pain!” I think the book tells us the strong link between the mind and pain but doesn’t offer anything new when it comes to solving the problem of pain through exercises which 99% of todays experts say is the best solution to back or neck pain. Invest in an updated book that tells you how to exercise anywhere.

An absolutely ‘must have’ for those already experiencing back pain and those trying to avoid it.

I have found this book to be an effective approach for back and hip pain. I recommend and have gifted this book to several people. It does take doing the exercises. I had some hip pain that was bothersome for a couple of months and went away never to return after using Dr. Brownstein’s approach.

This is an inspirering book and a practical book. His story is encourageing and most back sufferers will relate. The book is clearly written by an expert, not a medical journalist. The exercises are helpful, the relaxation/meditation are essential for a back sufferer. The balanced combination of therapies is unique. It is the intergrated approach and understanding this is so special and lacking in other sources, from physcians, therapists, books etc. As a physcian and patient, if i were to buy but only one book, this is it.
