    I didn’t order this bar for support, but rather to hold up my fabric shower curtain liner after a shower. I was having trouble with mildew from the curtain hanging against the wet tub, and this bar solved my problem perfectly! I had to install it slanted to fit my tiles, but it actually works better for me that way. It held to the tiles very tightly, and it is still there with no slippage at all. I have used it to hold onto for balance a few times as well, and it feels solid and secure. I love this bar, though I wouldn’t recommend it for someone needing full support in the tub, since I can’t say how well it would hold under weight. But for balance and light support it holds firmly. And of course, it’s perfect for holding up a wet curtain liner to air-dry.

    As one gets old–falling is a hazard we do not want to face. This bath rail is very secure and helps keep balance in th shower. I feel more secure in the shower with the rail on the wall.

    My mom recently had a knee replacement. We wanted her to be safe getting in and out of the shower/tub. This bar gave us all peace of mind. Not only was it safe for her to grab on to, but she also felt independent again since she was able to get in and out of the tub by herself. It’s easy to install and move to wherever you want in the shower. I have since spread the word to other friends with aging parents. I wish I had known about it sooner.

    This product was a great idea.The suction cups were small and not bulky, but effective. The one negative is the handle is too long. If shorter I would have kept it.

    I could not get this to even stay on the wall for more than 24 hours no matter what I did. Let alone rely on it to hold one up.
