My wife has excruciating pain radiating from her lower right side of her back going up to mid-center of her back. Have been to several so called “doctors” and have several scans to no avail. She is getting very discouraged and thinks that it must just be all in her head but when she wakes up out of a dead sleep rything in pain it’s hard to just ignore it. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? She has had an MRI which found nothing and a CAT scan that found some lymphnoids but the doc said that they were normal.

OK, more than likely this is all due to a spinal misalignment. When the joints of your pelvis and back are misaligned it causes a major pull on the muscles of the low back. This is turn can cause a lot of pain.

I would recommend that you take your wife to see a chiropractor. Backs are their specialty (over 300 more hours than an MD).

However, I will say this, don’t let this go and don’t just think it is in her head. Pain that awakens you can be a sign of cancer, but more than likely it is not.
