It seems like they are more and more a fluff news source, looking to distract the public from the important issues.
Today, right now, the “Top News Story” on each web page
FOX: Story on Congressional Budget Boss saying healthcare will cost too much

What a Joke! With everything that is going on, their “Top News” is crap.
Do take CNN seriously or are they a joke to you too?
Don’t get me wrong, they ALL have fluff pieces, and there is a place for their existance in our world, but NOT as the Lead Story!

I Took the Link the the LEAD STORY from each web page. As in the story with the big fancy picture for CNN and FOX, and the Story Labeled “Top Story” in the upper left corner of MSNBC.
I don’t know how more fair I could have been.

Thanks, I didn’t even realize that CNN’s Lead Story on MO’s Slave roots, was backed up on the Living Section. I just grabbed it off the front.
For the record, it was the captioned title story with photo on the main CNN page.

Lou Dobbs is still credible.He is an independent and steps out of CNN’s mostly liberal beliefs.They are still the best for general headlined news,but taking Crossfire off was kind of a mistake.It was a non-partisan based show that simply had debating between two people,and two moderators.
Funny thing is, you people cry about fairness doctrine, then cry about the effects of repealing it….biased news.
But really, fanatics consider anything that doesn’t tell them what they want to hear as biased. Its how they preserve their inaccurate world views.
When lying attracts more advertising dollars, don’t expect someone to tell the truth after they are deregulated. Deregulation creates less accountability. Isn’t that what right-wingers always want?
Not really, i mean, it’s better than MSNBC but heck, what isn’t? It’s kind of like a Liberal Drudgereport on the TV. Personally, I rarely use them as a news source, i prefer the AP which is just as lib but acts more seriously about things.

No, CNN has never been an actual news source. CNN follows the BBC style of “news” reporting which is really just pushing their agenda. I could go into detail, but it’s more than you want to know I’m sure.
Most of CNN’s reporters are not natural Americans. They were born in other countries and have a chip on their shoulder, much like Obama. One former CNN reporter is now the Marxist ruler in El Salvador, the country that the digusting owner of the liberal site Daily Kos grew up in.
CNN is essentially 24 hours of entertainment angles to hard news stories.

CNN is in the crapper because people simply don’t trust any news they put out about the economy or Obama…they should wake up before they simply fade away completely.
Not anymore Cable News is a Refuge of every Politicians from every Point of View I don’t care If you Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent they have a Commemorate for your Point of view, Nobody care about the American People.
CNN is known to be extremely leftist so being a conservative, I’m fox news all the way. However, I have heard from my liberal teacher that she thinks CNN is going to the right some.. Who knows? I actually don’t like CNN because it broadcasts the same stories over and over and over and over again. Watch Glenn Beck on Fox News… he comes on on weekdays at 5 pm eastern time. he’s cool.

NASA enhances 1969 video is my top story on CNN right now. Maybe i get a different edition of CNN to you, but there’s no mention of Michelle Obama anywhere.
I mostly turn to Reuters or Associated Press when I’m looking for news.
In my opinion anything that isn’t a news agency will be slightly biased and more concerned about selling news than providing news.
Selling news is a business after all, more than anything else.
I was about to jump on you (like the guy above me did) your CNN link is to the “Living” section. The Living section is typically dedicated to Fluff Pieces.
However, out of curiosity I clicked on the front page and shut my mouth, what did I see as the main headline?
“Tracking Michelle Obama’s slave roots”
The story then linked back to the “Living” page for the article, but it was certainly displayed on the front page as the main story of the day.
What a disgrace.
I’ve seen some real news on CNN – but there’s a lot of real stupid opinion… Cable news is bad. FOX FASCIST FALSE “News” is the very worst – with Glen Beck crying (’cause he LOVES this country SO MUCH!).
CNN has some legitimate news though – but try PBS – they just have straight, boring news – they carry the BBC News. You can actually LEARN something on there!!! Imagine LEARNING things from the tv!

I went into a class last night & someone had a smart car on the lot. One of my class mates said that our President wants us all to have cars like that….how insane can anyone be to believe that a man, the this specific man would expect such a thing or put that kind of energy into that. He has done so much to help the car companies. Anyway, I think people who listen to fox are truly exposed to subliminal technques so they are brainwashed. I will assume you have listened to some kind of right wing media if you really think CNN does not give news & Fox does. Be careful cause if you are not like the rest of that gang you will end up that way. No one says they want to be a drug addict it happens a lot though. I tivoed Obama you can just put a word or name in this DVR system I have. So I came home & a show about Obama had recorded. It was on Fox but I didn’t know it. So I watched it & it great until the last 5 minutes. I slept worst than I had in many years. I mean I felt like I was in a nightmare. They really did something to make me terrified & suspicious of him. It was horrible. I felt like I was mentally ill. Now your mind is up to you. You can watch what you want & you will end up being who you are by the choices you make. So think about it…..You have to work a bit with the CNN they are not going to force feed you as Fox does. So what you see as the lead story is just the one for the people who don’t want to go to far or too deep. I am not saying you are lazy but you went on that level. If you want the top story you have to read the line that takes you to it.
