PCOS Weight Loss Journey

16 October 2010

www.vamlltrm.blogspot.com Hello Everyone! I began my new life in March of 2007. By August of 2007 I had lost 80 lbs, and after 4 years of trying with no success, I finally became pregnant, but unfortunately suffered a loss. I got right back on my regimen. And, by March 2008 I was down 102 lbs. By September of 2008 I had reached a total weight loss of 115 pounds when my husband and I found out we were pregnant again COMPLETELY naturally! Our little guy arrived on May 15, 2009! I am so emotional, fired up and passionate about what i did for myself. I decided i was FED UP with being overweight, tired, hairy, childless, bitter and utterly miserable! I want to share this with you all. I want you guys to feel how wonderful i feel now, about myself and my life and even my PCOS! If you’re ready to make the change. The change to happiness and hope, contact me. I am always more than happy to share with other women with this, and similar disorders b/ci truly want to bring everyone with PCOS to the same place of hope and acceptance that i was FINALLY able to achieve. You may have PCOS…but PCOS does NOT have you!!

  1. I’m confused. You say you did it all with no surgery or weight watchers etc. etc. etc. but then you have a link to buy a weight loss drink? How is that on your own? I mean, I’m glad you were able to do it and all, but the sales pitch you have here is super misleading. Best of luck to you

  2. oh, and good job on your journey. keep it up:)

  3. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT SONG? and, GREAT job. :)

  5. I recently found out I have PCOS. My husband is in the army and we’ve been TTC#1 for over a year. I think knowing he might deploy anytime puts on more pressure to hurry and have kids! Thank you so much for posting this, your such a inspiration! I’m definitely going to stick to dieting and exercising. Pure determination! (:

  7. Aside from weight loss…which is important but does not necessarily preclude you from getting pregnant w/PCOS…you must also remember, you cannot be on clomid, metformin or bcp without proper diagnosis & proper monitoring so that you follow the correct treatment path. Not all PCOS sufferers are insulin resistant. Please see our latest video on PCOS with compelling testimony from two women who followed the correct treatment path.

  14. I’ve struggled with weight all of my life. I was underweight all of childhood until puberty set in. Then, I was like a balloon. I struggled for so long to just stay in my 1x clothes. Then I had my daughter and there was no stopping the weight. I’m up to a total of 240 right now. Doctors have told me it will be more difficult to lose the weight due to the PCOS I was diagnosed with at 17. But I’m so tired of it. My 3 years calls me fat and my husband rarely touches me. Any tips for me?

im glad you put this video back up, this is a motivating video and my fav ever on youtube!

  19. i have it, too. just a few weeks ago i went from 125 to 140 in a matter of days..usually fluxuate a few pounds, maybe 3-5, but this is ridiculous. and it WILL NOT go away on its own this time. it’s so frustrating and of course, i’m overly emotional about it, stupid hormones. i’m only barely 5’1″ so that leaves me overweight which is really depressing to find out. i used to be a size 16, i got down to a size 6, and now i’m afraid it’s coming back..i can’t seem to get motivated to do anything now.

  20. congrats!! I am on my own weigh tloss journey too!! check it out on my channel :)
