My Lady Friend is a Single Mother/3 Children with Kidney Stones & accompanying ailments who has seen 2 Doctors in less than a week, yet has been unable to persuade these Doctors to write her a prescription for any Painkillers other than a few Tylenol # 3s while we wait for a barrage of tests that might take a week or more. Her pain is constant & quite severe, and while I do not wish to merely treat the symptoms rather than the cause, I refuse to subject her to continuous agony simply because of her lack of affluence.

Go to Kingwood Urgent Care. They can give her a 100-200mg shot of Demerol or Morphine and also give her some pain meds in the mean time. I go there every time I am passing a stone for a shot and meds to get through it so I do not have to pay a hospital bill.
