Yes, lots of those are good ones, and stretching is very good for back problems. That said, I think you should monitor that disc closely and see if it improves. Massage is good if the therapist know your situation. Also it is great if you are laying around in the livingroom to put your feet up higher than your head for a while. Redistibute the weight in different ways. Using a pillow to put between your knees if you sleep on your side is good.Soaking in hot water helps my back when it aches. I also love Tiger Balm, it gives me a lot of relief. Good Luck, hope you get to feeling better.

Firstly as a sufferer, avoid Chiro’s, they wear out joints with too many manipulations, and crack you when cold, Osteopaths are better. Exercises like Cat curls, inversion bench works well, not if u have HBP, lying on your back, bring one knee to chest hold with both hands for 10secs and alternate, many exercises out there, be careful. Keep warm, and b4 any exercise warm up for at least 5 mins
I can give you a suggestion for pair relief. When you sleep on your back, put a pillow or two under your knees. This will relieve the pressure. Also, do NOT sleep on your tummy! This will aggravate it.
I know one exercise that helps. That’s sitting on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you and slowly stretching forward. Slowly! Just to give the muscles a stretch. But definitely use the pillows. Also, if you sleep on your side, put a pillow or two between your thighs. This also relieves pressure.
I really hope this helps. I am very familiar with lower back pain!
