Question by Don’t call me dude: Why do Democrats want to answer “I can’t afford health insurance” with…?
“You MUST buy health insurance! And we’ll fine you if you don’t.”

And the Republicans, with their “You peons don’t deserve any help with health insurance. Get a third job if you can’t afford it.”

Are they both CRAZY?

We need full health care nationalization, not some “public option” where the insurance companies get our money funneled to them at gunpoint!

Seriously – since when does someone say in response to “I can’t afford it” –”We’re gonna make you buy it anyway”?
