i’ve seen them advertised, and i just don’t know how much of it is true. something to improve metabolism, increase energy, curb appetites, and block carbs seems way too good to be true. but are there any supplements out there that really do work?

Jun 30, 2010 — Coventry Health Care (CVH) is trending higher at mid-day after announcing this morning that it will acquire privately held Mercy Health Plans in St. Louis. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The stock slipped 6 cents at the bell to open at .62, and fell to .59 before reversing direction and hitting a high of .06. It’s trading just off that mark at mid-day up 1.75% at .99 The acquisition is expected to close in the before the end of the year, and Coventry expects the deal to be accretive to 2011 earnings.
