Question by Teresa: Have you ever had food poisoning?
I got sick from, of all things, “Healthy Choice” turkey breast. I had salmonella poisoning and was ill for days…I mean vomiting, the runs, and I looked gray. I would say it happened within a few hours of eating it and it was the only thing I had had in over 15 hours so I knew it was that. The hospital said it was salmonella. I was in college at the time. It was horrible and I will never buy their products again. I also go sick off of my very first and last Marie Callender pot pie. In college. Have never bought that again.
Carrie – I no longer eat that stuff…that was over 13 years ago when I was in college. I blamed the store at the time because they had a habit of the freezers going out overnight and just fixing them and refreezing everything, or letting the trucks sit. I know because I worked there when I was 18-22.

I have never been sick since I left college and had time to buy and cook real food as opposed to eating on the run because I was taking 6 classes, 3 labs and raising a small child alone lol.

Went to a Tapas bar in Chicago…I think it was the octopus…not fun
