Uh, I just ate sooooooooo much “healthy” food to prevent eating a donut. Good trade off or bad?

I made a dish that my grandmother makes (I don’t know if she came up with it or saw the recipe somewhere), but anyway, it’s:

1 lg. Zucchini
1 med. onion
2 scrambled eggs

You basically sautée the veggies together in some olive oil and then pour the eggs over them and cook until lightly browned. I’ve been on Atkins for 3 years (I had 15 pounds to lose to begin with, and now I’ve had to stay at <30 carbs per day to maintain... for whatever reason if I increase I gain). Anyway, my mother bought my a chocolate donut with honey-dipped glaze. OOOOOOOOh my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!! I had ONE tiny bite (and it was better than I could have ever imagined), but to prevent eating it, I ate the above dish (close to ALL of it... and that makes a LOT of food) to prevent from eating that donut. Now I'm stuffed and bloated. Was that a good or a bad tradeoff? I know it's not good to overeat, but it's the only thing I could do to keep from eating that donut!!!! LOL
Oh maybe I should add that so far today all I ate was a piece of low carb toast (4 carbs) with cinnamon on it......
Yeah, but 1 zucchini and 1 onion contain negligible amounts of sugars, don't you think?

Even though it is healthy you can’t overeat healthy food like that. Next time just throw the donut away or give it to someone quick. I used to try and get full by eating a can of fruit or a ton of fruit and I wasn’t doing myself any good. Even though healthy those foods contain sugars and other ingrediants that turn into fat if eaten in large amounts.
