I’m going to sell my barley unused school books on Ebay, and I’m just wondering what is the best way to ship them. Right now I ordered a bunch of Flat Rate boxes from the post office, and I’m planning to ship them that way, but is that really the cheapest way?

What I mean is, one of my books, “A Christmas Carol” costs $ 4 alone. If I were to sell it for $ 2, the buyer would still have to pay an extra $ 5 for shipping, and he/she would be paying $ 7 for a $ 4 book which they could just drive to the nearest book store and buy it for cheaper.

I’m basically asking, how can I reduce shipping costs for buyers, while making some money for my self.

And I sort of HAVE to ship with USPS, because I do not own a car, and the nearest Staples is four miles away. It’s much easier to just walk 5 blocks to my Post Office.
