New Book Helps Women Find Solutions for Everyday Problems
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 21, 2006
Author Lisa Creedon’s new book, “The Women’s Survival Guide,” offers real-life solutions for everyday problems and answers questions on many different topics: “What do you do when the pet food bag is full of ants?” “How do you make freezer gaskets last longer?” “Are cooling racks really necessary when you’re baking cookies?” “What weight loss plan will work best for you?” “How do you make healthy food that your children will actually eat?” “How do you start a savings fund when you’re out of money?” “How can your faith make a bigger difference in your life?” “What part-time job or new career will you actually enjoy?”
By using real-life stories and examples, Creedon effortlessly captures her years of experience in stretching a dollar, choosing to be a stay-at-home mom over financial freedom, and resulting trials and errors in “The Women’s Survival Guide.”
Along with kitchen tips, recipes, and many household hints unavailable elsewhere, the book includes health-wise articles on such things as diet drinks, alternative medicine, medical questions, pros and cons of anti-bacterial soaps, how and when to use ice packs, and more.
“Many of the topics are things I wish I had known earlier in life, and I believe most women will benefit from reading this book,” Creedon explained. “I have often been disappointed in the how-to articles in magazines and books I read, so I spent years accumulating information to make my book a more concise reference guide, presented in a humorous way.”
The book also contains a chapter on enriching faith and includes a number of Biblical scriptures. Topics such as “Bloom Where You’re Planted,” “Are You Ready For A Miracle?,” “It’s Your Choice,” “Free Will” and others will touch every reader.
In the six chapters, “Penny Wise, Dollar Foolish,” ” I Need Money But Not a Full Time Job,” “In the Kitchen, But Not For Long,” “So, How’s Your Health?,” “Cleaning Up and Maintaining,” and “Words to Live By,” Creedon’s soothing style and wealth of information will delight and enlighten all readers.
Paperback, 173 pp., published by Bookstand Publishing, 2006, ISBN 1589093534
