I suffered from vertigo for over 14 months–at only 23! I learned the problem was I had a badly misaligned atlas bone, poor nutrition, and TMJ syndrome. My PC doctor told me I was depressed. I first went to an Atlas Orthogonal Doctor for six months, held the adjustments well, then when I went for TMJ treatment, all of my symptons went away! In fact, the dentist (who has 44 years of experience and endorses AO) told me I was one of the fastest people to recover in his practice.
This DC is a complete idiot and obviously has no skill with his hands. He is doing nothing for the profession by putting down an “Adjustment”, which quite frankly I dont even know if he has even heard of it. Just another moron trying to make a buck and put down the profession with his “cracking and popping of the neck” comments. AO is a decent option but i think this idiot forgot where he came from.
Cracking, twisting, or popping the neck to try and get it back into place is an archaic practice; in my opinion, the Chiropratic schools really need to do away with that and go with the Atlas Orthogonal Method. It is based on physics principles and is very mathmatical and precise. An upper cervical doctor should not even be called a chiropractor.
hotlik, there is no amplitude with that instrument. Also what angle can you adjust with an activator? That instrument precisely measures the angle at which you put in the adjustment. If you are looking to save money, Orthospinology has a hand held instrument that sells for around $500. Also, because of the precision, an important part of the upper cervical procedures is the x-rays. I encourage you to seek out your upper cervical club on campus, your future patients will be thankful.

I love this show!
i love the doctors show;)
I found a doctor in 1978 that was an Atlas Orthogonist in on the ground floor of this technology. He saved my life from debilitating pain. I bet my life on this. I need one now and mine has retired. I live in Riverside California. Does anyone know where I can find one nearby as they are few and far between. Only a few in the world.
