Would it be feasible to perform “surgery” on my old DDR pad to make it work?
Question by Lauren: Would it be feasible to perform “surgery” on my old DDR pad to make it work?
The contacts in the pad are mis-aligned with the arrows. Would it be feasible to cut open the pad and move the contacts back where they belong or should I just get another pad? I was thinking of cutting my pad open as a temporary solution until I can get a metal pad for Christmas.

First of all, I’m not very sure that cutting up the pad is going to work, second of all, I’m not sure you should get a metal pad. They are heavy, and thay take up alot of space. I recommend a Red Octane Ignition 3.0 pad which is under half the price of metal pad, and has superb performance.
